A Brief Introduction
I qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1983 and have worked in Cumbria since 1984, based mainly in Penrith but operating throughout Cumbria, the Lake District and Borders.
I opened my own practise in Penrith in 1988. This developed into a partnership, then a limited company with offices in Penrith and Carlisle and again operating throughout The Lake District, Cumbria, North Lancashire and the Borders.
Since 2003 I have worked from a small office at my home in Penruddock, midway between Penrith and Keswick. From this environment I can work in a very much more relaxed and flexible way and can tailor my service to the individual requirements of the client.
My main field of expertise is in the Surveying and Valuation of Residential Property although I do have experience of most aspects of the Profession including Commercial Property, Landlord and Tenant matters etc.
For your convenience I have included a scale of fees for Valuations and RICS Homebuyers Reports for standard property types although for very unusual property, for Building Surveys and for tasks specifically geared to a clients needs I will be glad to negotiate an individual fee direct either over the telephone or by e-mail.
